Initiative and Self-Direction
Providing opportunities to develop self- awareness and the ability to set up situations to one’s best advantage.
We support our students’ efforts to consider and reflect on their own learning experiences and learning profile in order to become self-reliant and independent learners. They learn to prioritize and manage goals while striving for accuracy, and shaping their own path for future success.
By communicating with clarity and precision, our students are able to advocate for themselves in the classroom and beyond.
The Odyssey School teaches students to embrace their learning differences. Throughout their time at Odyssey, students develop competence in reading, writing, and math skills. Most importantly, students become confident self-advocates who have developed an awareness of who they are as learners.
