Dear Odyssey School Community,
On behalf of the Search Committee, I am thrilled to introduce our fourth finalist, Dr. Caroline Miller.
Dr. Caroline Miller has been the Director of Middle and Upper School Learning Services at St. Paul’s School for Boys in Brooklandville, MD (grades 5-12, 536 total student enrollment) since 2014. As Director of Learning Services, 5-12, Caroline is responsible for programming and policy for learning services across the middle and upper divisions, conducts regular training for faculty and learning specialists, reviews psycho-educational evaluations and offers recommendations in alignment with policy and procedures, maintains reporting on learning services data to inform decision-making, and leads the annual end-of-year accommodation review process. As an admissions committee member, Caroline has a leadership role in the admissions process and leads a strategic plan committee on professional learning.
Caroline has also held positions as learning center director, IEP coordinator, program coordinator, teacher, teacher’s assistant, program aide, and congressional staff assistant. Caroline has also served as a conference presenter, school committee member, and grant writer/recipient and was awarded the St. Paul’s School for Boys 2017 Freeman Award in Teaching Excellence.
