Drawing Inspiration from Award-Winning Cartoonist and Graphic Novelist, Ira Marcks

Odyssey was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed the award-winning cartoonist and graphic novelist, Ira Marcks to campus. 

Marcks, the creative mind behind the creepy kid mysteries Spirit Week and the New York Times recommended Shark Summer, wowed both students and faculty in an all-school assembly focused on the art of crafting graphic novels.

He also hands-on workshops where our students learned how to design their own expressive cartoon characters. It was a day filled with creativity and inspiration.
