Odyssey Welcomes Two New Faculty Members

Meet the latest additions to Odyssey’s team of dedicated educators:
 
 Jessica Eyring, School Counselor

Ms. Eyring will serve as Odyssey’s school counselor. She joins Odyssey with seven years experience working as a school counselor in Baltimore County Public Schools. During that time, her responsibilities included: delivering mental health services through individual and small group settings, facilitating classroom lessons to support academic, social and emotional development, providing resources to teachers and parents to support social skill development, decision making, anxiety management, friendship skills, and more. In addition, Ms. Eyring served on the school’s equity team and provided professional development training on topics including behavior management strategies, school climate, self-care, and mindfulness. She holds a dual Bachelors in PR & Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University and a Masters of Education in School Counseling, with a certification for K-12, from Loyola University Maryland.

Danielle Williams, Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Ms. Williams joins Odyssey as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Education Studies from Goucher College with advanced coursework in Spanish. Her areas of expertise include socioemotional learning, Universal Design for Learning and multicultural education. Prior to joining Odyssey full-time, Danielle served as an Odyssey summer camp faculty member.
