Odyssey Middle Schoolers Display Creativity During Genius Hour Presentations

Our Clippers had the chance to showcase the passion projects they’ve been dedicating themselves to this school year. Genius Hour, a quintessential Odyssey experience, empowers our students to research, develop, and create projects of their choosing.

This "passion-driven learning" approach is inspired by schools and companies that emphasize independent exploration and discovery. It's all about celebrating interests that might otherwise go unrecognized. 

This year, students built picnic tables, dog houses, and pizza ovens, created their own bracelets and shoe cleaning solution, and even learned to make pasta, doughnuts, and fudge from scratch—just to name a few!

Families, classmates, and teachers gathered to marvel at (and taste!) these amazing creations while students enthusiastically shared the inspiration behind their projects. It was a day filled with innovation, learning, and a whole lot of pride.
