Windjammer Students Raise Dyslexia Awareness in the Community

Odyssey School student ambassadors recently visited Seneca Elementary School to share their experiences with dyslexia and help raise awareness within the broader community.

Four Windjammers spoke with Seneca students and faculty, offering personal insights into their learning journeys. During the visit, they highlighted the strategies they use to support their learning differences and emphasized that each student’s experience with dyslexia is unique. 

The presentation provided an opportunity to build understanding, foster empathy, and highlight the strengths of students with language-based learning differences.
