Serving our community, one partnership at a time

Odyssey partners with a variety of organizations to share information and to expand opportunities for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other language based learning differences. Partnerships have included schools, colleges and universities, libraries, nonprofits, and other professional organizations.

Supporting the next generation of educators

Internships and the We All Learn Program

The Odyssey School opens its doors each year to students from area colleges looking to learn more about education, language learning differences, speech pathology, and related fields.

Additionally, Odyssey hosts an annual professional learning program called We All Learn with Stevenson University's School of Education. The program is designed to introduce rising educators to the world of dyslexia and the science of reading.

Going to bat for children with dyslexia

A home run partnership with Orioles broadcaster Brett Hollander

Going to Bat for Dyslexia is an annual fundraiser founded by Baltimore Orioles broadcaster Brett Hollander.

Brett was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was in elementary school. His mission is to help Baltimore-area children with dyslexia learn to read through the remarkable teachers and research based programs offered by The Odyssey School. This partnership continues to grow and expand to make a difference in the lives of nearly a dozen children each year.
