Outreach at The Odyssey School is committed to extending the School’s expertise in dyslexia education and its compassion for children with language learning differences beyond the school’s walls and into the greater community.
Outreach at The Odyssey School offers resources and a team of experts to support parents and educators with children diagnosed with dyslexia and related language learning differences. A wide range of services is provided to the community focused on developing an increased awareness and knowledge of dyslexia and language learning differences.
Particular emphasis is placed on facilitating the early identification of children with language learning differences, providing training and professional development in best practices in the field of dyslexia education, and supporting research of the most effective teaching methods for children with dyslexia and related language differences.
Outreach at The Odyssey School understands the power of literacy, and it is committed to offering resources and services to the greater community so that every child with a language learning difference has the opportunity to an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Striving to reach and develop partnerships with new communities and groups is paramount to the outreach mission.
